I was very sad to see them retire him a few years ago, so I stocked up on a bunch of Pekkle items before he went away, so I do have quite a bit of duck stuff sitting still here around the house. Nevertheless, I did do a bit of squeeing last week when I found out they brought back several Sanrio characters back for the celebration. Of course, I picked up a few more Pekkle items, including this
And, new stuff seems to be popping up each time I go back. Not that I've been back that often. Since last week. Or anything.

I'm excited, though, because even though there's a big Sanrio store on 42nd street, there's a mobile pop-up store coming to town in early December. Of course, I'll find it.

Yeah, looks like they're skipping DC, kid. Although, from the looks of the "menu" from the pop-up store, they may have confused the actual meaning of "small gift." Some of their stuff's really pricey!

Yeah, they did a few years ago. For those last few years, I haven't been able to find any Pekkle stuff in the stores. That's why I was so excited when I started seeing the 50th anniversary stuff on the shelves.
